It's the mysterious structures' turn!

----

And they spawn more Wakiji to replace the ones that we've killed! LOVELY.

... now, since I'm pretty sure I can hear various members of the audience going "but Spirit Armor, wasn't it established earlier that Wakiji are born from sparkles and hatred?", to which I can only come up with the following reply:

Fuck if I know anymore. IT'S MAGIC!!

----
[Ogami]

... the Wakiji factories that Tenkai left right at the front entrance.

[Kohran]

I thought y'all weren't gonna poke any more fun at th' barstud?

[Ogami]

B-But... Wakiji factories. Front entrance. How the hell am I supposed to let that go!?

[Maria]

I'm sure there will be better opportunities up ahead, Captain.

[Ogami]

Like what? How could Tenkai possibly top something like THIS? It's not like he could give them an inherently obvious weak po--

----

[Tsubaki]

But... it's got to have a weak point somewhere!

[Yuri]

Maybe... it might be the power reactor-like things that's linked to the factories?

----
[Ogami]

Wh--

----

----
[Ogami]

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME.

[Kanna]

Man, I just don't know how Tenkai manages to keep lowerin' our expectations like this. Just when we THINK we've seen him hit rock-bottom...

[Ogami]

Let's just get this over with.

[Maria]

That's the fifth time you've said that in so many minutes, Captain.

[Ogami]

I know, I've been keeping count, too.

----

[Ogami]

Now do we destroy the reactors and then take down the Wakiji factories... or do we just destroy the factories using brute strength...?

[Ogami]

Understood!!

----

Aaaand we're just moving. Ogami and Maria head right at the fork to deal with the most distant Wakiji factory...

----

... while Kanna and Kohran take the top path, towards the hidden {snrrk) power reactors.

The caster-type Wakiji's attack is kind of like Iris's attack range, only potent!

----

----

----

As usual, Wakiji attacks tend to value look over substance.

God, I can't get enough of that glowy red eye effect.

----

Anyways, she's takin' potshots at the opposing team. END OF TURN.

Having perhaps hit the max number of enemy units for the stage (i.e. the Flower Division hadn't actually killed anyone), the factories don't actually do jack squat.

VIDEO ALERT!

The second part of the battle!

Google Version!
-----

Oh, hey, I totally forgot about this option-- might as well see how the game phrases our mission objectives.

----
[Maria]

Captain, we've already passed one of the machines. In fact, we have already destroyed one of the machines.

[Ogami]

There are three machines.

[Maria]

... no, Captain, seriously, there are only two machines left.

[Ogami]

There are three machines.

[Kohran]

Techn'cally, we got five machines t' deal with if'n we include th' three power reactors.

[Maria]

Please don't complicate things any more than they already are, Kohran. Also, I believe that the Captain's broken again.

[Ogami]

There are three machines.

[Kanna]

Hey, do Wakiji and Koubu count in that total sum? If so--

----

----
[Kanna]

WE'RE MINUSING BY ONE, BABY!!

[Ogami]

... K-Kanna, that's not actually a verb, I--

[Kanna]

Hah! I knew that'd do the trick.

[Maria]

You were stuck in the grip of that horrible obvious exposition bug again, Captain.

[Ogami]

Christ. Again?

----

[Ogami]

Okay, how can we destroy them?

[Yuri]

Um... it's impossible! Those power reactors... they can't be destroyed, even if you attack them as you normally would!!

[Kasumi]

Perhaps if you could force more steam energy into them, then maybe...

[Ogami]

Force more steam energy into them... alright, I'll try and think about it.

... by which I mean "I'm delegating this shit to Kohran and possibly to Kanna." The first item on their list is--

... alright, do you even have to ask?
