Well, only one hit's needed to kill the Wakiji!

(Even though those machines... couldn't possibly be evil... I... can't do a thing about it...)
Though I'm getting more and more worried that one of those hits is going to turn into the camel that broke the Kohran's back.

Kohran dodges the issue quite nicely by charging up her spirit gauge and guarding and THAT'S ALL.
(And poking the Wakiji for damage.)
Bastard returns the favor, though...
Which means that it's another fourth of her life bar gone.
I'd rather not contemplate what would've happened if she wasn't guarding.
Naturally, they keep attacking her.
My theory is that they have some sort of emodar that can sense which character has the lowest level of trust. Regardless, Kohran just keeps taking a beating.
Thankfully, the sword Wakiji in the back just sits there and guards.
Maria joins the fray, blowing a nice chunk off that Wakiji but not killing it.
Iris can't get close enough to heal Kohran the traditional way-- her action bar isn't high enough to hit the 'heal' command, the triangle button-- so...
It's spirit-chargin' time. And because I don't want Kohran to die...
Sumire's on healing duty since she can't squeeze past Sakura and Kohran. There's also an added bonus:

[Kohran]
I think I can... have it done by about tomorrow afternoon, but...
[Sumire]
I see! In that case, it will be just in time for tomorrow night's performance.
It is fine if it will break after one use, so please build it quickly.
[Kohran]

Then, I am depending on you! Now then... let us hurry up and defeat these enemies so that we can go back, shall we?
